Gartner Wants Your Toughest Enterprise 2.0 Questions

Got a question for a Gartner analyst? We just might use it for an upcoming Social Computing Journal special feature.

Taking place June 8-10 in Orlando is Gartner's Portal, Content and Collaboration Summit. This event explores avenues through which to access, search, structure, and manage information and improve organizational productivity and efficiency through collaboration and social software. The Summit brings together top Gartner analysts and thoughtleaders for in-depth sessions focused on recent innovations, best practices, and the latest must-have research.

In anticipation of this event, a select panel of Gartner experts covering a variety of industries/areas/topics covered in depth by Social Computing Journal will answer the most challenging questions submitted by SCJ readers. Questions can be submitted and voted on via Google Moderator; the deadline for submitting and/or voting on questions will be April 30, 2009. (You can email questions if you are unable to get to Google Moderator to submit them directly.)

The ten most popular questions will be submitted to Gartner for answers.

The theme of this year's conference is "Connect for Success," and this special Social Computing Journal feature is designed to answer your questions and provide you with exclusive Gartner industry research and knowledge, normally made available only to Gartner clients. The most challenging and thought provoking questions will be chosen, and Gartner's analyst responses will be published in May, prior to the conference.

Questions submitted should pertain to the below topics. You may submit as many questions as you like.

  • Social Media
  • Collaboration
  • Open Source
  • Knowledge Management
  • Enterprise Tools and Technology
  • SOA, Interoperability
  • Web 2.0
  • Cloud Computing/SaaS
  • Emerging Technologies
  • Semantic Web
